Go Bald event in Miri was extra special! Not only does it coincide with Mother’s Day, we broke both records for Miri. Shaving 315 people today out of which 51 were women ( last year we shaved 56 women in total for Kuching and Miri) and we raised RM 517,000 ( more to come) which was RM 200,000 more than targeted! We would like to thank all for ur support ! Kuching is next. Could we hit our target of shaving 100 women ( Kuching and Miri ) and 1000 ppl in total? Let’s do it!

Go Bald Launching Miri

The whole event went well with 22 Mega Hotel staffs went bald of which 1 was a female participant.

The event took place in Mega Hotel at 1:00pm.

Dato’ Sebastian Ting, Political Secretary to the Minister of Energy, Green Technology & Water and Mr Douglas Low, the General Manager of Mega Hotel were there to kick start Go Bald campaign in Miri.

Dato’ pledge to go bald during the actual event on May 13.

Mr Douglas presented a replica of a giant razor to Jocelyn during the launch. We thought that was kinda neat!

Go Bald Launching Kuching

The whole event went well with 55 SEDC staffs went bald of which 3 were female participants. Total collection during the launch RM17,560.

Well done, Kuching!

The event took place in Grand Margherita Hotel at 2:30pm.

Datuk Talib Zulpilip, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Chairman of SEDC lead 54 others on stage to kick start Go Bald campaign in Kuching.

Early this month, we did something exciting, and we have also posted a teaser here in our Facebook page. We even have featured the teaser video in our first entry here. Now, the video is ready, and some of you may have seen it at our roadshow at the Spring shopping mall already!

Our kiosk/booth is located just outside the Sushi King outlet, at the entrance to Food Bazaar food court. You can’t miss it! Here is the video we did:

Go Bald’s First Entry

Go Bald’s website is running live for a week now, since 12 April 2010. So far, everything seems fine. On the other hand, Go Bald’s Facebook Page has got 965 fans to date. We are glad that the response is overwhelming. Thanks everyone for your support!

Here in the first entry, we’re gonna share a couple of things for you. We did a video production last weekend, for Go Bald, and it was fun and exciting. And, now we have come up with a teaser.
